I just took a while to look at the 311 photos added by my friends in Facebook. I can really see a change in my size. Although it is true that I do look better when I'm more meaty, I have seriously overgrown. I need to lose the ugly fats in my flabby arms, thighs and belly. I need to workout!
I've committed myself to jog with the pupils every 1st lesson of the week. Have been teaching them how to do forward and backward rolls on other sessions. All the demonstrations made my neck and shoulders sore. I guess all these are not enough even though I ended up physically tired everyday. I need to do more cardio and strength exercises to build muscle mass to increase my metabolism rate and "tone" my body. Once a week or fortnightly of tennis is not enough even though I really make sure I run a lot during those enjoyable tennis sessions with my lovely friends I love hanging out with. I need motivation and consistency. I have to plan some personal workouts on my own at home.
If I want to see a change, I have to be disciplined! Here's what I am going to do:
1) Put a photo of a woman with a nice body tone on the cupboard at home, in school, in my laptop, in my hp and in my ipod so that I can work towards that "toned" physique.
2) Paste my workout schedule on the cupboard at home, in school, in my hp and in my ipod.
3) Have a balanced diet (beer is acceptable once fortnightly).
4) Anything else that I have not come up with..
I hope this is not too much and it will last. Finding nice and appropriate photos are not as easy as I thought. Hahaha.
And I really need to do something to my hair!!!

More presents...
I received more presents and would like to thank all my friends for the wonderful gifts, love and thought.
This is from Eunice and Jean Toh.
This is from my bro and sis-in-law.
And this is from my colleagues. $120 worth of Adidas voucher. What should I buy??
And Eunice and Sue bought me a guitar tuner and capo. And I finally bought a 32 inch LG TV for myself. Hee. I had all that I want for this year's birthday. I'm happy.

Tai Tai Day!
Well, yesterday was a great day out for me. I went for a buffet lunch at Merchant Court with some of my best buddies in school-Lynn, Wendi, Sin Chieh, Jasper and Elaine. We ate and we ate and we ate. Met a colleague unexpectedly and was shocked that our birthday is on the same day. He gave us 3 glasses of red wine and I was the only one who finished it. The durian was ABSOLUDELICIOUS!!!
Ok that's the only picture that I had. The group picture is not in my camera. So I'm waiting for them folks!
After the filling and satisfying lunch, I went to Adelphi for my facial. I had a great relaxing treatment and spent $200++ inclusive of treatment, a bottle of serum and sun block. And my hair was in total mess after that. Worst thing was, I met a student and she saw my messy hair. :( Intended to go to Kimage student for a hair wash, but they were too busy to attend to me. So I had to go to the toilet to wet and press my messy hair down to look presentable.
Then I went down to Vivocity to meet Deb, Shi and Huiling for a Japanese BBQ dinner buffet at Charcoal (at St James). Yes. 2 buffet in a day is scary. My 3rd one this week. It was the best meal I ever had after going for so many buffet this week. Seriously, there was a whole lot of fresh meat to BBQ. It was fun, filling and definitely EXPENSIVE. Thanks Deb for introducing this place to us and the treat.
Take a look at the fresh scallops and beef.
And many many more other meat that we ate for about 3 hours. The food is really great and the service was good. Best thing was, there wasn't any crowd. So we can eat our dinner in peace.
And they bought me a pair of very short shorts. Gosh. And I just realised that it is SMALL size. Can I still fit in it? Thanks for having so much faith in me friends! Hahaha.
Next up, we went to Iluma to try out the new KTV called K Suite. The place was new and trendy. Our room was a little small though. We sang for 2 hours and then it was time to head home. Cool night. Thanks friends! Deb needs to work this morning and Huiling and Shi were not night owls. So I really appreciate you gals sticking out with me till 1.30am.
It was a happy day! Thanks to all my friends who made it possible!!
After this Tai Tai Day... it's back to reality again. Can our holidays be longer??

Early birthday celebration in CGM
School holidays is gonna end really soon. And the real fun started on Thursday after CGM. My beloved CG members celebrated my birthday, surprising me with lots of gifts. I really wanna thank them for their generosity and love.
If you are reading my blog, I want to really thank you for all the effort in making my birthday a special one this year. Here are the gifts that I received:
From the CG, I received a ipod touch cover on my wishlist.
And a super shocking type of dress which I need to muster some courage to wear it one of these days. Ha. I'm being exaggerating.
I really want to thank them for their efforts in trying to make over and accessorize me. So here are the rest of the wonderful gifts I had received from my group of concerned friends.
And a great gift from Wen which I really needed. The current wallet that I'm using doesn't allow me to carry a lot of cards. This one does! So thanks Wen! I really appreciate this.
And Adeline prepared a wonderful Japanese soup and pasta for all of us that night. Thanks everyone!

Happy Teacher's Day!!!
It's time of the year to let our hair down and have fun. I am really thankful to God for the wonderful kids that He has placed in my hands this year. Although I did not receive as many presents as I did last year, I had gifts from the hearts of my pupils. I am really touched especially, by the cards they made and the words they wrote on the cards.
I also had an ex student who came back to visit me and talk to me. She had a problem in her brain that causes her not to be able to retain information as well as other pupils. She failed all her subjects (I think her Chinese is a pass) from P1 to P6. She came and told me that she's in Sec 2 now and she passed her Mathematics with A1 this year. I was really happy for her. This is the kind of satisfaction which can't be found in any other jobs-When you are happy not because you did well, but because others did well.
At this point, I just want to thank all my teachers, including my spiritual teachers in church. Without all of you, I wouldn't be who I am today. Everyone of you played a part in my life and I am truly blessed to have you. Happy Teacher's Day!
Here's to all my colleagues: Happy Teacher's Day to you too! Thanks for being wonderful colleagues and friends. Work can be unbearable at times but we can bear it if we hold on together. Let's continue to help and support one another in this walk together!
Enjoy the photos!
The wonderful P3 teachers!
The newly added PE comrade, Hana!
The pretty girls in my school-Wendi and Sin Chieh!
Everybody, meet my PA. Actually not mine lar... Our CCPE, Krystin!
The PE Dept!! Look at how blessed Aaron is...
The Ah Goh Goh girls strike again... in a different pose!
The neighbourhood pretty gals-Mrs Chan and Yeejia!
By now you should know the poses of the day repeats itself in almost every picture. Haha!
And we ended the night with some Whisky at Bar Stop near Cineleisure. What a wonderful night!!!
